Pins and Needles

I always start a costume by pinning it to the dummy.I stare at it for a while and think about what I might be able to do, and then after days or weeks or longer I start cutting. I have a pattern for a bodice laid out, which the cats have attacked, and I am not close to cutting it yet. I feel I'll need a lining for the bodice to reinforce it and the idea of looking in the closet for material (And you can bet I have it) wears me out. I am sorry for the sad turn of my life, grief takes all the creativity out of me. I hope I can keep on with my plan, which has tipped over into being "Pink Princess" which is more my style as giant fairies are probably frightening to young children.
