I plan on ditching the red brocade. Providing I make a costume next year. I always say I won’t and then I do. I would love to put the good with black....

Q E 1
What a lot I learned on this costume.
It may be my last. I learned that even the cheapest costume fabric is better than old curtains from KMart. The material just.... exploded with every cut. The fraying gold lame was nothing compared to the deceptively cool burgundy brocade.
I couldn’t block my eyebrows- and that may have turned out to be a blessing as I would have been hot AND itchy
In the midst of this final countdown my Renauds syndrome flared up. My fingers go cold and numb and white.
Fabric!

What?
I suppose I missed last year entirely. I don’t even have an excuse. I know I revamped the old Lolita costume and looked like a very fat baby doll!
It’s hard to be excited when you weigh fifty pounds more than your vision
So despite being a fat cow I started work on QE1.
It’s time. I may not last another year.
