Endless Possibilities

I LOVE this time of year. Everyone at work is whispering- what are you gonna be for Halloween? What are you going to dress up as? Heep in mind we are all mature, grown people. But it's so much fun! Like I've always said you either love it or hate it and seems like a lot of casino people love it. I am still thinking of Harajuku Lolita, and I've mixed up a concoction to condition my wigs...LOL. I read that laundry softener and water 1 to 4 ratio, works wonders but I didn't have any softener so I got a bounce sheet, a little spray bottle, and a cup of hot water. I put the Bounce sheet in the hot water and squeezed out all the softener then poured the liquid into the spray bottle. Shook it up and sprayed two of my wigs. Oh, the improvement! They both look so much better. That's about the high point of my summer!

On Cue- Change my MInd

I have yet another idea- talk at work has turned to Halloween, as it usually does this time of year, and I was saying, Oh, yeah I will probably drag out my Ms. Kay costume since I didn't wear it last year. Of course I have already documented Jessica's talk of Geisha and Japan that got me started haunting the webs for ideas, and danged if I didn't come up with one: harajuku girl! I've already got a pink wig (Who has a pink wig but me?) that I can put some big bows on. I could knit leg warmers. I could find something pink and dolly from the Goodwill-- no one will know what the hell I am, but I am used to having to explain my costumes. People thought Marie Antoinette was Martha Washington. People know who Minnie Mouse and Snow White were though....but this will be a way to use that wig I've been searching for a costume idea for, for YEARS! We'll see. Early days. I will probably change my mind again.
