Grace's costume was ok, the beadwork was cool. It was the first time I ever tried it. I'd like to do more. I loved making something for her but it's really stressful, trying to please someone else. I don't now that I'll be a costumer, as once was my dream. I'm more of a take it or leave it person. That's why it was always easier just to give people things rather than sell custom made. People suck, is why!

When Will I Learn????
I wore three costumes at work (after I was all gloomy and pouty, swearing I'd never dress up again) and I made one for a friend, and yet I have no pics. Well, I have one but it's more of the dogs, and my double chin! Ah! Isn't life grand? I'm almost glad I didn't see any of the other costumes. Old fat ladies are so depressing, especially when you're one of them!

Tink
I am nearly finished with the bones of Baker's outfit. It's pretty cute, better get some pics. I bought some beads yesterday at WalMart to add some sparkle to the belt. I am not sure if I am capable of btht heading but I hope to learn. I am eager to get started and yet trying to be quiet and unobtrusive this morning.
I am pleased with the costume on the whole, hope it fits. The waist seems a little small and bodice a little long. Maybe the sparkly belt will help.
As for my outfits, I have a shit ton of work to do and have done none of it. I need a beard for Charbonneau, tights for Snow White, a lot of cleaning for the RenFair and the whole thing for the pink flapper. I have so much to do and here I sit on the internet playing Sims and catching up with blogs. Sad. I need to be busy. I am going to do it now!

Four
Is it possible? Is it even imaginable that I will get to dress up four days in a row? I mean, I'm not dreaming am I?
I hope not. We're allowed to dress the 28, 29th 30th and 31st, according to the memo released last week. My heart soared. I started pawing through my closets this morning, early, to locate the various costumes I might want to revisit- Snow White was in pretty good shape, needs an ironing, Charbonneau is going to be a challenge because of the boot tops and the head gear- can't wear a hat. Might get the beard. RenFair lady needs some work, and some cleaning! But it still fits, surprise surprise!
The fourth will probably be the pink flapper. I wish I could come up with something more interesting, but that's about it. First year I'll wear a wig with Snow White instead of my own awful hair!
It's going to be hot.
I hope I don't go back to work and find out the rules have changed.

Tinkerbell
I have somehow agreed to make a Tinkerbell costume for Baker. I think it will be easy. Yeah right. At least it's something creative. I feel uninspired and lazy here lately. Part of that might be my actual health, but this time of year is when I usually get going, and I suppose it will happen eventually. Probably.
I'm knitting a lot, but aside from a couple awesome hats, it's been really routine. I just don't have anything grabbing me and making me want to work hard. That is so unlike me!
Maybe with the autumn weather creeping in I'll be my normal self. But right now I'm not sure I know what normal is.
Come on enthusiasm!!!

Clueless
Ok. I usually have my costume if not done at least thought of by now. Thinking I'll do Charbonneau, last year's back up plan. All I'll have to do is come up with a few mountain man accessories and a beard. And I'll get to wear the hat......Yeah, probably dressing as a man this year. Too much going on to embark on a big project. And of course, I'm working on swimwear, which is hilarious, and fun. And the promise of making something I'll use more than once is just delightful.
