My costume idea is so complete I don't want to give in to peer pressure and devise a last-minute rocker costume like all the other kids at work. Crap! I will bring the picture of Bama's work of art in case I get any flack. I described myself as Sacajewea's worthless French Canadian trapper husband. I did a book report on the Bird Woman in grade school and I always thought her husband seemed like an ass. It'll be easy to work in, I think.

Change of Plans
Since I've done nothing but knit, I'm afraid I'll have to scrap all ideas for anything new this year. But I do have the mountain man costume, which is all but complete- and maybe even complete-able in short notice. I'm planning on knitting a red mountain man hat and getting a beard. Bug hates when I dress up as a man because I so obviously enjoy it. But this year I wont have a choice!

September
Shit! I'm not even started my costume this year, beyond what I did long ago and now hate and wish to change. Thought about a Flapper, again- ugh, how lame, but I need to be able to wear it to work. I'm taking a couple days off around my birthday, which is my tradition, so with any hope I can come up with something. This will be the worst costume ever. Get used to it! After Marie 09 I said I wouldn't be making any more big costumes. After all, it's one day a year. Then what do you do with it? Advertise on Craig's list?
